VBS has once again come and gone. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Miss Lorri and all of her gang who put forth so much effort to see that it was a success. The decorations were cool and the kids sure seemed to enjoy all aspects of VBS. Singing, eating and learning. they had a blast! It is important to mention that the VBS kids chose Night's Shield for their Mission Project this year. Their goal was $300.00 and they finished the week with $358.23. They were all more than happy to bring their money and offer it as a means of helping other kids who are facing tough times. A special THANKS to Jean for her planning and fixing of the food each night. She had a good bunch of helpers and from what they tell us.....the kids sure did like to eat! The closing program Sunday night was a terrific display of what all they had learned and they were all so well-behaved. Thanks to all of the parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts and other family members for sharing your kids with us for the week. We would happy to see any and all of you back every Sunday. A final thank you to the ladies at Minor for the amazing spread of food after the Sunday night program. It was all so good and there was such a big variety. THANKS to all of you.
